We need your help.

Become a student researcher and contribute to original research on the global dimensions of disinformation and misinformation. We welcome UT-Austin undergraduate and graduate students.

GDIL Student Associates (GSAs) join one of our project teams working on real research projects. We ask you to commit ten hours a week to your project work. You will be trained in practical research skills, be listed as a student researcher on our website, and become eligible for paid positions in future semesters. As a GSA, you will also receive a digital certificate for participating in our research skills workshops and access to our slack workspace, where we regularly share internship and employment opportunities! You must be a UT Student to participate.

Students are typically assigned teams at the beginning of the academic year. However, if you are interested in joining a team or learning more about the Lab, please complete our online application.
